A mid-twentieth-century angelfish pendant, modeled in 14k yellow gold by the beloved pearl house Mikimoto. This darling fish is bold and graphic, with smooth, flowing lines— a fine, brushed, linear texture fills out its body and fins, while the outline of the fish is finished with a bright polish. Three lustrous Akoya pearls round out the design— one of these white pearls is our fish friend's eye; the others suggest bubbles. This pendant is marked K14 for purity, and with the Mikimoto M inside a shell-shaped cartouche. It hangs from an oversized jump ring.
