An elegant Art Deco era ring, modeled in platinum, whose low-profile, shield-like face has a delicate, lacy perimeter. This intricate old darling is hand-pierced and engraved, with a combination of geometric and floral elements, and it is set with a clutch of sparkling old European cut diamonds. The primary diamond (approx .46 carats) is bead-set into a square seat at the ring's center— it is bright and eye clean, with a small, high table, an open culet, and steep crown facets. Supporting diamonds flank the primary stone, nested into seats that make-up the ring's lacy open-work design. We love this ring's delicate look, its perfect, not-too-long elongated form, and the way it lays flat against the finger like a shield made of lace! This is lovelier in person, and it would make an outstanding engagement ring.
