Walter Lampl Enamel Record Player Charm
with Stanhope Viewer in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A rare and wonderful, complex, mid 20th century charm, modeled as a cabinet record player, in 14k yellow gold. This miniature record player is housed an articulating cabinet, whose hinged dust cover and small, front-facing doors all open and close! It is complete with a tiny gold arm, a glossy black enamel record, and a series of cheerful, rainbow-colored bars that decorate the cabinet's face! A small stanhope lens is fitted into the front of the record player, between a series of little gold knobs, and a miniature comic strip is preserved inside. This is a very cool old charm, and it is in outstanding condition! The enamel is crisp, and all of the moving parts close precisely, with a little snap. This charm is very pretty worn alone on a long, slender chain. It is ideal for a vinyl enthusiast, or for anyone who spins you right round! Marked 14k for purity and with the monogram WL, for Walter Lampl.
