A Victorian-era cluster ring, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose primary gem— a large Persian turquoise cabochon— is surrounded by a sparkling halo of sixteen old European cut diamonds. This high-dome turquoise cabochon is a clear, vibrant, sky-blue color. The chunky, little old mine cut diamonds are white and very clean, with small, high, tables, steep crown facets, and open culets; they are held in shared prongs and beads that are integral to the ring's crown-like head. This ring's slender half-round shank is collared at the shoulder, and it tapers toward the base. We love the cheerful, intense blue color of the turquoise, here, and the ring's contrasting waxy and crystalline textures! This would make a wonderful, unusual engagement ring.
