A pair of Victorian era drop earrings, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose primary gems are a pair of a large, round, Persian turquoise cabochons. These striking turquoise cabs are clear, vibrant, and sky-blue in color. They are surrounded by halos of chunky old European cut diamonds, which are white and very clean, with small, high tables, steep crown facets, and open culets. These sparkling diamonds are held in beads and shared prongs that are integral to the earrings' crown-like gallery. The earrings are fitted with locking shepherd's hook ear wires. We love the cheerful, intense blue color of the turquoise, here, and the contrasting waxy and crystalline textures! These are special enough for occasions, and a great size for thoughtful, frequent wear.
Ear wires have been newly restored.
