Victorian Era Etruscan Revival Joined Rings Earrings with Ruby & Pearl in 14k Gold
Poor Mouchette

A pair of Victorian-era, Etruscan revival earrings, modeled in 14k rose gold, whose beautiful form resembles a pair of joined rings. These interlocking rings are hollow-form, thick-walled, and fully-dimensional. They are ornately decorated with intricate, twisted wire work, and beads of granulation. Trios of gemstones (ruby and seed pearl) decorate the applied, banner-like seats that rest atop the rings. This joined rings motif is symbolic of commitment and fidelity, much like the buckle and belt motifs of the Victorian era. We love these earrings for their bloomed finish, the rich patina they have developed over the years, and their sweet, subtle symbolism! These are easy-wearing and very flattering. Closure is an old-fashioned, hinged, locking post. Marked 14k for purity.
