A rare and wonderful Victorian-era convertible jewelry suite, modeled in 14k yellow gold, featuring a series of natural, untreated turquoise cabochons, in shades of blue and green. These turquoise cabs are bezel-set and stationed along lengths of flattened curb-link chain. The suite can be worn as a pair of bracelets, or as a necklace, thanks to a pair of ingenious hidden clasps that create a seamless appearance. This suite comes complete with a set of turquoise drops, fitted with spring ring clasps— these can be worn attached to a folding bail, that stows beneath one of the turquoise cabochons. It's a treat to find convertible jewelry from this era, moreover one that is so wearable and relevant. We love the clean lines here, the striking, varied colors of the turquoise gems, and the unique figuring of their matrices!
This suite fits an average woman's neck, as a choker-length necklace, and as bracelets it fits an average woman's wrist. The turquoise drops can be worn attached to one bracelet, centered on the necklace, or even as earrings, if you attach them to a pair of ear wires.
