Extra-Large Realistic Ear of Corn Pendant
in Bi-Color 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A very cool, extra-large, mid-twentieth-century pendant, modeled in 14k yellow and white gold to resemble an ear of corn, with its husk partly peeled back! This ear of corn was made with incredible attention to detail— the yellow gold cob is covered with crisp, high-relief kernels that graduate in size, while the white gold husk is smooth and polished, with deep linear graving and lovely curled edges. The full length of the cob is decorated, here, and the husk is applied over the top— we love the realistic shadows this method of construction creates! This pendant hangs from a large, oval jump ring; it is marked Italy, and 14k, for purity. This big pendant looks best worn on a long chain.
