Edwardian Serpentine OEC Diamond & Pearl Ring
in Platinum & 18k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Edwardian era diamond and pearl cluster ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, with an unusual, curving form. The ring face is a serpentine procession of small, bezel-set, old European cut diamonds— these bubbly little platinum bezels sit shoulder-to-shoulder, giving our wavy diamond "line" a sweet, scalloped edge. The yellow gold ring shank extends from either end of this line, creating a continuous look. Four, luminous, natural, creamy-white sea pearls are arranged on the diagonal, at the center of the ring face. We love this graceful Belle Epoque beauty for its cheerful, balanced aesthetic and its very precise manufacture— the repeated round and curving elements really sing! Marked 18k for purity.
These pearls were naturally formed, not cultured. As such, they vary slightly in color and shape. They are original to the ring.
