Edwardian OMC Diamond Oval Panel Ring
in 14k Gold & Platinum
* * SOLD * *
An elegant, low-profile, Edwardian era cluster ring, modeled in 14k rose gold and platinum, whose long oval face is encrusted with 21 chunky, near-colorless, old mine cut diamonds (about 2.55 carats, total). These soulful old diamonds are white and very clean (G/H, VS-SI). They are set close together in a combination of beads and prongs, so they cover the ring's shield-like face with icy, multidirectional sparkle! A pair of decorative diamond-set epaulettes decorate the ring's shoulders, flanking our glittering ellipse. The ring's half-round shank tapers toward the base. This is exceptionally well made (even the underside is crisp and precise) and it looks clean and sophisticated in wear! It would make a wonderful engagement or right hand ring.
