A striking, extra-large, Edwardian era horseshoe pendant, modeled in 15k gold and platinum, set with thirty-two sparkling, old European cut diamonds (H-I, VS1-SI1). These charming hand-cut diamonds are set into the face of our horseshoe, using a combination of beads and modified prongs, where they cover its surface, edge-to-edge. The diamonds graduate somewhat in size, the largest sitting at the base of the u-shape. The horseshoe's "gallery" is crown-like, its design creating an elegant, subtly-scalloped edge. This magnificent horseshoe is made with a rosy, yellow gold base. Its strapping, rosy-yellow-gold bail is attached to one "leg," so the horseshoe hangs slightly askew in wear. This is bold, graphic, and very precisely made— we love it as a talisman of good luck! It wears well on a long or short cord/chain, alone or layered with other meaningful pieces.

This horseshoe was once a brooch. It has be thoughtfully converted by our jeweler.
