* * SOLD * *
A striking Edwardian-era cluster ring, modeled in 18k gold and platinum, whose primary gem is a bright, highly-saturated, 1.9 carat, no-heat Ceylon sapphire (GIA certified). This vibrant, old cushion-cut sapphire is mounted in ten prongs, and surrounded by a halo of ten, near-colorless, old European cut diamonds (H/I, VS-SI). An additional pair of OEC diamonds are bead set into petite epaulettes that embellish the ring's shoulders. The ring's crown-like head is modeled in platinum; its undergallery and shank are modeled in 18k rosy-yellow gold. This bears two French hallmarks. It would make an outstanding engagement ring!
This ring is accompanied by a GIA Gemological report stating the sapphire is of Sri Lankan (Ceylon) origin, and that it has not been heated or enhanced in any way. GIA report # 6223590511
