Dainty Magnifying Pool of Light Charm
in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A dainty, mid 20th century charm, whose broad 14k yellow gold bezel frames an optically clear, two-domed, crystal cabochon. This little charm is strikingly minimal— its transparent crystal reads like a drop of water, suspended inside a gold ring. It has a serene visual quality when worn alone on a slender chain. This charm was probably intended as a small magnifying glass. Its crystal magnifies whatever is laid beneath it. We love these beautifully-made old charms, and like our favorite examples, this one has lots of symbolic potential.
