A charming, Art-Deco-era, filigree shield ring, modeled in platinum, whose primary gems are arranged to suggest a quatrefoil. These gems— two natural, vibrant-blue sapphires, and two old European cut diamonds— are held in bezels at the center of the ring face, where they surround a single, natural seed pearl. This quatrefoil rests amid the ornate, hand-pierced, diamond-set forms that decorate the body of our lobed "shield." The ring's half-round shank is slender, and it tapers toward the base. Traditionally, the quatrefoil shape represents a four leaf clover— worn as an amulet it represents good luck, harmony, and prosperity. We love this ring for its low profile, its easy to wear scale, and its complex, but harmonious composition!
