Art Deco Draft Horse Blue Enamel Charm
in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A rare and wonderful Art Deco era charm, modeled in 14k yellow gold, depicting a handsome, bridled draft horse. This flat-lay charm is illustrative in style— the horse's form is outlined with polished gold borders, while the body is "filled in" with beautiful, speckled, denim-blue enamel. The horse's reins are also "drawn" in polished gold; its girth strap is enameled in darker blue, and is decorated with polished gold dots. This charm is enameled in the same manner on both sides. It hangs from an oval jump ring. These old charms are very scarce. Marked 585 for 14k purity. We like these old darlings worn on a slender neck chain.
