This ring is big and sculptural, with surprising textures and movement— it looks different from every angle, and every angle is strange, creaturely, and beautiful! We love the variety of forms and angles, here— the unusual, winding shoulders and ring shank, the contrast of the smooth pearls and the spiky coral forms, the "chiseled" texture of the clamshell, and the way it partially conceals four of the ring’s cultured pearls. Sea witch or mermaid? This ring is soulful and outstanding, in hand. Its concept and execution are both wonderful! Marked 14k for purity, and with the maker's mark.
