A charming 1920s wedding set, modeled in platinum, whose engagement ring features an especially pretty .65 carat transitional cut diamond (F/G, VVS). This sparkling, hand-cut diamond is mounted in an open, square-ish, "picture-corner" style basket, where single beads further secure it, in each of the basket's four corners. Alongside this primary diamond, trios of diamonds, set into square, stepped seats, decorate the ring's shoulders. The engagement ring's gallery is elegant, and visually delicate, with hand-pierced decor and an engraved pattern of wheat. Its slender shank is further engraved with wheat and orange blossoms— it tapers toward the base.
The matching wedding band is set with 15 small, sparkling, single cut diamonds, and a series of engraved orange blossoms covers the remaining area of the band's face. This band stacks beautifully with its partner. Both pieces are finished with delicate milgrain details. Marked 900 Plat 10% Irid, for purity.
