1.25 CTW Victorian OEC Diamond Stud Earrings
with Six Prongs in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A special pair of antique diamond stud earrings, whose soulful, early, old European cut diamonds are held in six prong mounts. These elegant, 14k rose gold mounts are crown-like with deeply cutaway sides. Their prongs are tapering and claw-like; their posts are threaded, for security, and the precisely-made nuts are fashioned with a clever, crescent-shaped stirrup. It is uncommon to find original diamond studs from this period. We love the sparkle of these charming hand-cut diamonds, and the lovely proportions of their rare old mounts! CTW is approx 1.25 carats. These original partners are beautifully matched.
