Mid Century Double Helix Diamond Ballerina Ring
2.35 CTW, in Platinum
$ 6,500.00
* * SOLD * *
A striking, vintage, ballerina-style cluster ring, modeled in platinum, whose primary gem is a .65 carat round brilliant cut diamond (G/H, VS). This vibrant, white diamond is held in six prongs, at the center of the ring face. Surrounding it, two curving rows of tapered baguette diamonds create the impression of a spiral, or a double helix, moving around the central stone. These curved rows of baguette-cut diamonds graduate in size— they are largest at the center of the ring face, decreasing in size toward the ring's shoulders. The sparkle-factor, here, is next level, as these bright white stones play off one another in a scintillating manner (because of the stepped arrangement) while also reflecting light back toward the center! This is marked 10% Irid Platinum (for purity), and with the maker's cartouche. It would make an outstanding maximalist engagement ring!
