A Victorian era cluster ring, modeled in 14k rosy yellow gold, whose old cut diamonds are arranged to suggest a six-petaled flower. This diamond flower is composed of a central Old European cut diamond, surrounded by a handful of mixed old cuts. These antique diamonds are white and lively, with small tables, steep crown facets, and large, open culets, characteristics that create the charming, irregular sparkle we love! These diamonds are held in place by silver interior prongs, and gold prongs that are integral to the ring's crown-like head. This classic ring has a unusual shoulder detail— deeply graved and patinated diagonal lines that travel down the shank, creating the impression of spiraling (like a barber's pole). We love this decor, as it gives a slight edge to an iconic form. The ring's deeply-patinaed face and undergallery sets off the whiteness of the diamonds, and furthers the darker, romantic tone set by the shoulders. This would make a wonderful, unique engagement ring!
