Ole Lynggaard Aquamarine & Diamond Ring

A exceptional vintage cocktail ring, substantially-modeled in 14k white gold, by the beloved Danish designer, Ole Lynggaard. This challenging, modernist darling features an icy, 2.6 carat, faceted aquamarine, and a pair of 2.25 mm brilliant cut white diamonds. The oval aquamarine gem is held in a deep, smooth bezel, and the diamonds are held in a pair of towering, exaggerated, four-prong mounts. This ring was designed with an open face, which makes it very comfortable. Its Euro shank keeps the ring from rocking in wear. We love everything about this elegant, futuristic affair— it is boldly architectural, and from some angles it looks a lot like a space fighter! This is marked 585 for purity and for the maker Ole Lynggaard.
