Vintage Ilias Lalaounis Ram Heads Bypass Bracelet

A striking, hinged, bypass-style bracelet modeled in 18k gold by the iconic Greek designer Ilias Lalaounis. This vintage bracelet features a pair of beautifully-sculpted rams' heads that acts as finials for the bracelet's sleek, fully-round shank. Our rams have beautiful curling horns and red ruby eyes— each wears a peaceful expression, and their necks are decorated with Hellenic-style scalloped collars, wirework and granulation. The bracelet shank is decorated with a reeded texture (a series of finely graved, parallel lines), while its hinge is embellished with braided wire and granulation. This bracelet is meticulously made and beautifully detailed! This is an very wearable Lalaounis design— we love the weighty, cable-like heft of the bracelet shank, the sculptural quality of the ram heads, and the beautiful textures, throughout!

This bracelet is marked 750, for purity, and with a small Lalaounis maker's mark— the plaque that bears these marks is located beneath the ram's head on the underside of the bracelet.
