They are held in a combination of beads and claw-like prongs that are integral to the ring's crown-like head. This ring is styled with notched, cathedral shoulders, and a flat, tapering shank. It is marked 18CT for purity.

Natural pearls are naturally occurring, e.g. not cultured. Natural sea pearls are scarce and highly-prized.
