An elegant Edwardian era diamond cluster ring, modeled primarily in platinum, with a 14k rosy yellow gold shank. This old darling is bead-set with a bevy of chunky, old mine cut diamonds that nest in the elongated, horizontal, diamond-shaped seats that cover its oval face like a series of waves. The ring's slender shank tapers from the shoulder toward the base. We love the incredible texture and sparkling presence of this ring. The repetition of forms, considered alongside the irregular, hand-cut nature of the old cut diamonds is seriously winning— minimalist but maximalist . . . different but same! This would make a wonderful, unusual engagement or anniversary ring.
