Edwardian Moonstone & OEC Diamond Halo Ring
in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Edwardian era ring, modeled in 14k rosy yellow gold, whose primary gem is an exceptional blue flash moonstone. This long, oval moonstone cabochon is water-clear, with a strong blue flash. It is held in a crown-like, sixteen-prong setting, where it is surrounded by a series of sixteen, chunky Old European cut diamonds. These antique diamonds are white and lively, with small tables, steep crown facets, and open culets. A further pair of OEC diamonds decorate the ring's epaulette shoulders. The ring's half round shank is substantial, and it tapers toward the base. We love this ring for its serene quality, and for the way these gemstones (glowing and glittery) contrast! The scale of this oval ring makes it very flattering in wear.
