Belle Époque Three Stone OEC Diamond Ring
with Lattice in 18k Gold & Platinum
$ 6,500.00
* * SOLD * *
A Belle Époque era engagement ring, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, whose face is an openwork, diamond-studded lattice, with three old European cut diamonds resting at center. These primary diamonds (G/H, VS) are arranged in a vertical row, where they are each held in six claw-like prongs. The lattice-work they sit atop is dotted with 12 additional old cut diamonds, that are seated in small, hand-fabricated bezels. The ring's yellow gold shank is slender and reeded; it tapers toward the base. We love the airy, webby look of the lattice work, here, and the ring's buttoned-up, corset-like shape! This ring is beautifully made— its reverse side is as precisely-finished as the front! This is marked with a faint, hand-scribed design number.
