Art Nouveau Sweet William Enamel Stud Earrings
with Threaded Posts, in 18k Gold

A sweet and very rare pair of tiny Art Nouveau era stud earrings, modeled in 18k yellow gold, in the likeness of ephemeral dianthus blossoms. These tiny, dimensional flowers have four petals, with serrated ends, and they are realistically decorated with two colors of enamel (white and earthy-lavender). They have textured gold centers with projecting, anther-topped filaments. These earrings were made with threaded posts, and screw-on backs with a stirrup-style guard. Dianthus flowers symbolized love and affection in Victorian times. These darlings are all original, and they are immensely wearable!
