Edwardian Three Ducks Brooch
with Enamel & River Pearls in 18k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An Edwardian era pearl and enamel brooch, modeled in 18k yellow gold and platinum, depicting a trio of duck friends, inside an oval frame. These three mallards float together along a milgrained platinum wire. They are finely embellished with translucent, multicolored enamel, and each duck's wing is a tiny, white, Mississippi river pearl! This is a special and beautifully made object. Its open, airy quality, clean lines, lovely repetition, and ducky subject make it elegant, cheerful, and very endearing! Brooch fitting closes with a c-clasp.
