Circular Art Deco Emerald & Diamond Cluster Ring
in Platinum
* * SOLD * *
An unusual Art Deco era engagement ring, modeled in platinum, whose primary gem is a vibrant, highly-saturated, step cut emerald. This beautiful emerald is held in a smooth, polished bezel; astride it, a pair of step-cut diamonds rest in similar bezels. These three, central gems are arranged in a linear manner, horizontally, atop the ring's circular face, which is encrusted with small, bead-set, transitional cut diamonds. The ring's shoulders are each decorated with a further bezel-set, step cut diamond. Its slender shank has a square profile, and it tapers toward the base. We love this ring for its circular form, and for its elegant, playful design elements— the contrasting arrangement of circles and squares, here, along with the levels and textures present in this small composition.
