Art Deco Old Cut Diamond Line Drop Earrings
in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
A wonderful pair of Art Deco era earrings, modeled in 14k yellow and white gold, each made-up of a series of three, bezel-set, old mine cute diamonds, and a larger, old European cut diamond drop. Our diamond trios are arranged in vertical lines, where they are held in hand-fabricated, white gold bezels— below this "diamond line," the primary diamonds dangle, mounted in a crown-like eight-prong settings. The stacked diamonds, here, are stabilized by a series of carefully-made, open rings that lay unobtrusively behind them, connecting to the earrings' yellow gold earwires. The diamond lines, and the drops, swing freely below the topmost diamond. These earrings are German, and they are beautifully made. The diamonds are bright and lively (F/G, VS1-SI2). The ear wires are hand-fabricated, hinged, locking, lever-backs.
