Art Deco OEC Diamond Concentric Circles Locket
by Eckfeldt & Ackley, in 14k Gold
* * SOLD * *
An early Art Deco era locket, modeled in 14k yellow gold, whose decor is a series of engraved, close-set, concentric circles, expanding outward from the locket's central, old European cut diamond. This locket is especially beautiful in movement, when its grooved surface reflects the light in an almost hypnotic manner! It reminds us of an LP, or of a hypnotist's wheel. We love it for this reason, and for its clean, minimalist, graphic quality! The OEC diamond, here, is bright and clean. The locket closes with an admirable snap. It hangs from a thick oval jump ring. This is marked 14k for purity, and with the Eckfeldt & Ackley maker's glyph (an acorn).
